IMPACT CHURCH - Scottsdale, AZ

​

In a change from our standard format, Global Commissioned Builders was blessed to join with our partner church, IMPACT Church of Scottsdale, AZ, to make improvements at their new facility.  Located in an outdoor mall, the 58,000 square foot facility needed to be completely redone.  The front was completely torn down and GCB did the foundation work along with the anchor bolts and the structural  steel.  After the erection of all the structural steel, (three semi’s worth) we furnished and installed the front glass and door materials. GCB furnished all of the structural steel for the platform, including large I beams to open up the stage area.  IMPACT Church are dear friends to Global Commissioned Builders and we were so happy to be able to help them with this project.

 

IQUITOS - Peru

Supported Medical and dental clinics on the Amazon that included construction of an underwater birthing center.

KISUMU and BONDO - Kenya

 

Global Commissioned Builders supported construction of a school building for Salem Ministries that includes temporary dorms for boys, a septic system and latrines. We’ve been able to give 3,500 text books and 900 Nokero Solar lights. Through a strategic partnership with Convoy of Hope, we have also supplied 285,000 meals for the students. In an effort to address the needs of the large population of widows, we’ve donated land to 200 women, enabling them to farm the land, feed their families, and generate income. The need for basic utilities in this rural area prompted us to deliver electricity to the Bondo Farm as well as fencing for the property and pumps to supply water from Lake Victoria.

MISSION EXPERIENCE HAITI ORPHANAGE - Port au Prince, Haiti 

 

Global Commissioned Builders has joined Mission Experience in building boys and girls dorms for the future leaders of Haiti.  Not only will they find clothing, food, and shelter here, they will also learn about Jesus and the unique calling He has placed on each of their lives.

MISSION GARDENS OF CHRIST - South Sudan

 

GCB sponsored the building of an orphanage.  The construction was contracted with locals in their area.

GONAIVES - Haiti 

​

Global Commissioned builders made three trips to Gonaives, Haiti, to build a new church building.  This project allowed for the church to better serve the 200-250 youth who meet weekly and receive meals from Feed My Starving Children, a ministry based in Minneapolis.

 

During our visit to Haiti, the country was in rebellion over gas delivery.  On the third trip, the team was stranded because all of the roads were blocked off.  The only way out was by helicopter.  It took two helicopter flights to evacuate our team of sixteen to safety.

 

This facility, including the foundation and slab work, was furnished by GCB.  The erection was done by GCB and IMPACT Church. Our local partner was Renelus Maxime, a Haiti national who lives in NY, but spends most of his time in Haiti.

TITANVEN - Haiti

​

Partnered with Convoy of Hope and Mission of Hope to build a 38,000 square foot food warehouse and distribution center.

​

MANZINI - Swaziland

​

Global Commissioned Builders supplied 5 buildings to the Luke Commission for use in their medical mission to combat AIDS. We were there to raise 2 buildings, poured 3 other foundations and erected 1 frame for other teams to complete.

NICARAGUA

​

A recent smaller scale project was to build a home and providing a pizza oven for girls in Nicaragua who have been rescued from trafficking. These girls had been living in an area dump site.

​

WILLEMSTAD - Curacao

​

Joined MAPS in the construction of a 2 story building for Sunday school rooms that included steel reinforcement and concrete deck work.

SANTO DOMINGO - Dominican Republic

​

A team from Radiant Church construced a church/community hurricane shelter. This project included the installation of reinforced steel and a concrete roof.

ATHENS- Greece

​

Assisted MAPS in renovating the 6th floor of an existing building for use as a church sanctuary.  

​

ABILENES - El Salvador

​

Partnered with ENLACE to provide medical clinics, clean water system, latrines, and bridges so kids can get to school.

​

LEMON - Venezuela

 

Several teams from across the US have been part of the large scale construction of Samuels House children's home. The project started in 2005 and ran through 2013 with structures that include:

  • 10,000 square foot multi-purpose building for church and school library, apartments, Sunday School rooms, medical clinic, dental clinic, kitchen, gym, office, storage and team showers and restrooms

  • Sewing center and apartment

  • 4,800 square foot lodge for teams and retreats with an industrial scale kitchen and swimming pool

  • 2 barns, 3,300 square feet and 2,000 square feet

  • Green house

  • Covered play ground

  • 8 houses for up to 100 kids and house parents

 

SAN PEDRO SULA - HONDURAS

 

The Large scale project for Hope House Children's Home included:

  • Excavation of land

  • 3,500 square foot storage barn

  • 3 bedroom home

  • Water well

  • Foundations, frame, roofs and infrastructure for 3 dorm houses

  • Electricity brought to the site

  • Perimeter block walls and fencing

MEXICO CITY - Mexico

​

Partnered with Radiant Church and MAPS to add a second story to a local church.  

​

PUNTARENAS - Costa Rica

​

Partnered with MAPS to construct a new church building.

​

JUAREZ - Mexico

​

Assisted Radiant Church and MAPS in adding a second story to a church building.

DAVID - Panama

​

Father-Son teams renovated a roof and ceilings of a local Bible College.

​

BELIZE CITY - Belize

​

Partnered with MAPS to expand a local Bible College building for class rooms.

 

TEEN CHALLENGE - Phoenix (USA)

​

A ministry that is close to the heart of many, Teen Challenge was the beneficiary of dorms, partitions added to each room, and paint upgrades to thier buildings.

TEPLICE- Czech Republic

​

This MAPS trip provided Teen Challenge with a second story addition that was used for class rooms.

​

PITESTI- Romania

 

Assisted AG Eastern European Missions in the construction of a 3 story orphanage dorm and medical facility.  

OSIJEK- Croatia

 

Partnered with a local Bible College in the demolition of condemned housing and the addition of dorms.  

WINDHOEK - Namibia

 

Assisted a local church in a second story addition to their building.
